Lubbock County Commissioner's agree to sell the 84 year old, former Federal Building at 800 Broadway to RTGS Broadway Development. The RTGS group consists of owners from Austin, Tulsa and New York who previously restored The Mayo Hotel in Tulsa to its previous glory with a $42 million renovation. The hotel reopened its doors in 2009 which jump started the revitalization of downtown Tulsa. RTGS is considering a mixed use renovation of marque proportions for 800 Broadway consisting of office, apartment and hotel units. WestMark Commercial successfully marketed the project and landed RTGS after a nationwide search for the right buyer.
